Abundant but scarce in the mornings. Try circling the block several times.

Attire

Your organization’s identity is key when selecting an outfit.

Laid back vibe? Keep it casual and unique. Traditional corporate culture and clients? Business attire is probably your best bet.

I’m not a stylist so a discussion with your branding team or a stylist is advised. Otherwise, browse my portfolio or other headshots online for inspiration.

Tips

Consider: Analog watches, deeper colors, neutrals, eyeglasses
Avoid: Smart watches, highly saturated colors, high sheen fabrics

White background? Avoid wearing white. If you’re set on white and unsure of the background, bring something a little darker as a backup.

Outfit Changes

We have a small restroom in the studio for outfit changes.

Be reasonable. Multiple outfits, options, accessories, etc, can lead to a rushed session and stressful preparation.

1-2 People: 3 outfits max. 1-2 outfits preferred.
3-5 People: 2 outfits max. 1 outfit recommended.
6+ People: 1 outfit max.

Notes:
• Planning on 2+ outfits? Try to arrive with one on, if possible.
• C-Suite, execs, or orgs most public facing employees (comms directors, folks seeing most press coverage), consider 2 outfits (even if your group is 6+).

Hair/Makeup (Optional Add-On)

If adding hair/makeup, arrive as you would for an important client meeting, conference, etc. The hair/makeup artist will concentrate on making you camera ready. Please account 15-30 mins per person for hair/makeup.
